Return to Forever: Infinity Plugin for Audacious

Apr 22, 2009

XMMS is dead, long live Audacious. But what happens to all the cool plugins? With Infinity, one of them has now been resurrected.

Duilio J. Protti has released a new version of the Infinity virtualization plugin originally written for XMMS but now available for Audacious. It provides interesting light effects during audio playback that can switch to full-screen mode with a Tab.

The plugin is still in beta stage. Our short test showed only sporadic results. The source code is available for download at Sourceforge.
