Lucidor 0.9 with OPDS and Full Screen Mode

Jan 27, 2010

Lucidor, the free program for reading and organizing ebooks, now available in version 0.9 comes with the ability to read OPDS catalogs.

The Open Public Distribution System (OPDS), uses Atom XML feeds to create lists of ebooks offered on the web. Among the users of the system is the website Feedbooks.

Besides this, the new Lucidor comes with full screen mode and can display ebook source texts. The program, which also packs web content into ebook format, uses Mozilla's XUL technology as its user interface. Version 1.0.0 also functions with the new Firefox 3.6, and XULRunner 1.9.2.

Licensed under the GPLv3, Lucidor 0.9 is available as Debian and RPM packages and source code, along with binary data for Windows and Mac OS X.
