Log for C++ Reaches Version 1.0

Version 1.0 of Log for C++, a class library with numerous logging functions has just been released.

The library for the C++ programming language is organized along the lines of the Log4j Java library and also draws from its API wherever practical according to the developers. Log4cxx is an alternative implementation.

Log for C++ (Log4cpp) supports configurable logging in files, and in cooperation with the Unix systemlog service and other services. Version 1.0 will offer developers a stable API for many years to come. The source code is can be downloaded in the form of a tar gz archive and is licensed under the GPLv2.
